Bespoke Dental Tips: When to floss...
“A lot of people ask me if and when they should floss. I highly recommend it, but I know I will not be able to convince all of you. However if you do floss, don’t do it after you brush your teeth or before you eat. The best time is before you brush. Flossing helps remove and loosen food debris, as well as plaque between your teeth. The toothbrush bristles will do the rest. If you, like some of my patients, think flossing is too messy, try making it a part of your shower

Bespoke Dental Tips: Brush your tongue...
“Clean your tongue people! Bacteria produce some pretty rancid odors (volatile sulphur compounds) on the rear of your tongue. These byproducts are a major source of foul breath. You can use your toothbrush, but a tongue scraper is more effective. Stick out your tongue and try and clean as far back as possible. When you finish, brush your teeth. Then rinse with a mouthwash.”
